DOUG ADKINS
Biography
Montana born and raised, Doug Adkins is a country singer-songwriter whose music reflects small-town life, working-class roots, and life growing up in the American Midwest. His songs are shaped by dirt roads, fence lines, county fairs, and the everyday moments that don’t make headlines, but quietly shape the people who live them.
Growing up in Northeastern Montana, Doug experienced a Midwestern upbringing where farm kids stayed home during harvest season to work on the family farm, and community life revolved around school activities and school sports — homecoming nights, county fairs, and the simple pride of winning a big game. Those grounded, real-life experiences continue to find their way into the songs Doug Adkins writes today.
Over a career spanning more than three decades, Doug Adkins has written more than 250 original country songs and released 12 studio albums, blending traditional country values with modern production. He is just releasing his twelfth studio project, Don’t Question Love, continuing that tradition with twelve new songs recorded with the same honesty and authenticity that have defined his career. Track eight, “Free,” was written in recognition of the 250th anniversary of the United States, honoring the freedom that shaped Doug’s life and music, and honoring everyone who has ever served.
Doug Adkins has built an international touring career, performing extensively across the United States and Europe. Known for his professional, high-energy live shows and strong audience connection, Doug delivers crowd-tested performances for festivals, fairs, rodeos, and concert stages of all sizes.
